Coming off a win over No. 5 Northwestern and a No. 4 national ranking, Syracuse dominated Loyola from the start, jumping to an early 10-1 lead behind two early goals from Emily Hawryschuk, Megan Career, Mary Rahal and Nicole Levy in the run. But after a 12-4 halftime lead, Loyola fought back making it a four goal game at one point. But it was too late, as the Orange hung on to win its second-straight game against a ranked opponent.
