Gallery: Pan Am Flight 103 victims remembered during Candle Light Vigil

In honor of Remembrance Week, 35 chairs are set up on the Quad to represent the 35 SU students who were killed in the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing. The chairs are arranged to re-create where students sat on the plane.

Thirty-five dove-shaped balloons were released on Monday night to represent each of the 35 Syracuse students killed in Pan Am Flight 103.

I remember the day of Pan Am 103 clearly. I am also a Remembrance Scholar & graduated in ’96. I’m proud to see how SU is continuing to remember those we lost.
