Stopping Porter serves as Syracuse’s biggest challenge as Orange looks for revenge against Georgetown

When Syracuse fell to Georgetown 57-46 on Feb. 23 in the Carrier Dome, the bulk of the responsibility went to Otto Porter. The Hoyas’ forward terrorized the Orange’s defense, knocking down shots from all over the floor.

Porter had a huge game in front of 35,012 fans, and is going to look to have the same type of performance on Saturday at the Verizon Center.

And since that game in the Carrier Dome, Porter hasn’t really slowed down. He’s averaging 25 points in his last four contests. Georgetown is 3-1 in that span, with the loss coming in a surprising upset defeat against Villanova.
